The SUP Car Rack works through a combination of straps, pads, and buckles. The aerodynamic, extra-high EVA foam pads provide a soft cozy bed that your boards will rest against and they provide a barrier between your board and your car. The strap system is UV treated and tested so it’s designed to withstand the beating sun and abuse you dish out on the way to the beach. Holding everything together is the rust-proof, metal cam buckle that strongly grips the strap system preventing any unwanted slack in the strap system. The buckle system also comes enclosed in a neoprene enclosure to help keep your SUP ding and dent free!
There are two great features about this rack. First, you don’t need an existing car rack in place for this rack to work! (In fact, this rack will not work if you already have a built-in car rack). This is especially great for the car-owning population, because unlike SUVs or trucks, cars are less likely to come with a built in roof rack.
